Blog!!!
Welcome to My First Blog Post 🌿
Hi, thank you so much for popping in and taking the time to read my very first blog post. It truly means a lot to me. I thought the best way to begin this journey would be by sharing a little bit about myself and how I got here.
My Journey to Spain
Back in 2002, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life — I moved to Spain from England. Leaving behind the familiar comforts of home, family, and everything I had known wasn’t easy. Starting over in a new country never is.
It definitely wasn’t easy at first. I didn’t know anyone. I didn’t speak the language at that time. I had no family around me, no friends nearby. I didn’t even know where to go to buy certain things or how everyday systems worked — medical care, schooling, paperwork, simple day-to-day life. Everything felt unfamiliar and overwhelming in the beginning.
There were moments of doubt, moments of loneliness, and moments when I wondered if I had made the right decision.
But over the years, things began to change. My Spanish improved little by little. Now, I would say I’m fluent — although with a very strong English accent! The locals understand me perfectly though, jajaj 😊 And with the language came confidence, friendships, understanding, and a sense of belonging.
Looking back now, I can honestly say it was worth it in so many ways. Spain has given me experiences, growth, and a life I could never have imagined back then. The journey hasn’t always been smooth, but the lessons and memories along the way have shaped who I am today.
Love, Family & Building a Life
One of the greatest blessings of my move has been my husband, Rafael. He’s Spanish (or as I like to say, my very own Spaniard!), and we’ve now been together for 22 wonderful years. Time really does fly when you’re building a life together.
We have two sons, Alejandro and Andrés, who are the heart of our family. Watching them grow has been one of my greatest joys. Alongside them, we also have our children from previous marriages — all grown up now — which makes our family beautifully blended and full of stories, laughter, and love.
Family means everything to me. It hasn’t always been perfect (what family ever is?), but it’s real, strong, and built on years of shared experiences.
A New Chapter
Starting this blog feels like the beginning of another chapter. A space to reflect, to share stories about life in Spain, family, lessons learned, and whatever else life brings my way.
I’m going to leave you with some family photos, and I’ll check back in with my next blog in a few days.
If you’ve made it this far — thank you. I’m so excited to see where this blogging journey takes me, and I hope you’ll join me along the way.
With love,
Until next time 💛
Blog 2
Friday the 6th March 2026 Another Beautiful day in Spain.
Hi everyone! 😊
Thank you for joining me for my second blog. It’s been a very interesting week! Family commitments are always a big part of my life, and alongside that, of course, there’s my work.
It’s also been a strange week with the weather — one day rain, the next day sunshine! ☔☀️ The fantastic thing about living in the south of Spain, though, is that once we reach around May, we usually enjoy glorious sunshine for at least six months. That’s definitely something to look forward to! 😎
What I’ve Been Doing This Week
So, let’s talk a little about what I’ve been doing this week in my business, Living in Spain Estate Agent.
It’s been a nice mixture of tasks. I’ve spent some time doing database work — not exactly my favourite subject, but it has to be done! 😅 On the more enjoyable side, I’ve had lots of new properties to share and advertise on social media, and I really do enjoy that part.
I love anything creative, so putting together posts and showcasing beautiful homes is something I genuinely like doing. Plus, I get a great deal of my leads from social media, which really shows that this is the direction things are going these days. 📱🏡
Meeting New People
I’ve also met lots of new people this week — something I always enjoy. And yes… talking! 😂 Those of you who know me will definitely agree that I like to talk… jaja!
Springtime in Alhaurín el Grande
Springtime here in Alhaurín el Grande is truly something special and not to be missed. 🌸
The countryside is now beginning to bloom with flowers and fresh buds, and when the sun shines, it feels amazing on your face and body. It’s definitely good for those aching bones! ☀️
Feria Season
We’re also entering the time of special occasions and ferias, as we call them here in Spain. 🎉
My family are all horse lovers, and since we have two horses ourselves, we love dressing up and heading to the local ferias with them. One of my favourites is the Málaga Feria in August.
You’ll see beautiful horses and carriages, stunning flamenco dresses, amazing fashion, and of course plenty of jamón and wine! 🐎💃🍷
Weekend Plans
I also have a house viewing tomorrow, which I’m really looking forward to. Yes, it’s a Saturday, but I work whenever I need to. Many of my clients work during the week and can only view properties at the weekend — and honestly, I really don’t mind. I love what I do. 😊
Well guys, that’s it for today!
Tune in for next week’s blog.
Have a fantastic weekend! 😄
Bye for now! 👋
Blog 3
I just had to share this oppatunity with you Guys!!!!!
Hi guys 👋
I wasn’t going to do another blog until next week, but today I had the pleasure of taking a client to view an investment reform property right in the heart of Alhaurín el Grande, Málaga. 🏡
Wow… what an opportunity! ✨
You could buy this reform property at an excellent price as a family home, or renovate and resell it for a very good profit. 💰
I don’t come across many opportunities like this, so if you’re interested in an investment property, give me a buzz. 📲

Blog!!! I hope this answers your questions
Hi a question was asked to me today.
This is my answer 😃
Many people ask me if my RLEA (Real Life Experience Assistance) service is the same as property management. The answer is no — it’s something very different.
Property management usually focuses on the property itself.
RLEA focuses on you.
Moving to Spain or settling into a new life here can be exciting, but also confusing and overwhelming. My role is not just to manage a house — it’s to help you navigate real life in Spain.
Think of RLEA as having a trusted right-hand person on the ground. Someone who can help with the everyday things that make life easier:
* Settling into your home
* Understanding how things work locally
* Helping you connect with the right services
* Being there when you need guidance or support
It’s built on trust, friendship, and genuine care, not just contracts and tasks.
My goal is simple:
To make sure you don’t feel alone figuring everything out in a new place.
With RLEA, you’re not just getting assistance — you’re gaining someone in your corner, almost like having family nearby who can help when you need it.
If you’re planning a move to Spain or spending more time here and want someone reliable on the ground, feel free to reach out.

Coin!
a little Gem!
One of the things as an Inland Estate Agent that i really enjoy doing, is helping people find the Place they really would like to live, a Place that suits there life style, and there budget.
Coín – A Hidden Gem in the Costa del Sol🌞🌞
Nestled in the heart of the Guadalhorce Valley, Coín is a charming Andalusian village that offers a slower, more authentic side of southern Spain. Surrounded by rolling hills and just a short drive from the coast and Málaga city, it blends traditional Spanish life with modern convenience.
For expats, Coín is especially appealing because it combines affordability, community, and lifestyle. Property prices and daily living costs are generally lower than in nearby coastal hotspots, yet you still enjoy excellent access to beaches, airports, and international services. The village has a welcoming atmosphere, with a growing international community alongside friendly locals, making it easy to settle in.
Life in Coín moves at a relaxed pace. Morning coffees in the plaza, weekly markets, and local festivals create a strong sense of belonging. At the same time, nature is right on your doorstep—perfect for hiking, cycling, or simply enjoying the views.
In short, Coín offers expats the chance to enjoy authentic Spanish living, sunshine almost year-round, and a balanced lifestyle without the crowds of the coast.
Could Coin be for you?
